Dear Seeker of Success,
The real meaning and deeper use of Speed Seduction® isn’t just knowing how to chat up chicks and get laid.
Of course, that’s in there. Obviously.
It’s also about an opportunity for radical, profound personal rebellion, to look at the meaning you’ve been giving things, and to take a meaning that serves you better.
If the old meaning you’re giving it is that this is a task that you have to do well at, like it’s a “cold call” that you HAVE to close, that’s going to cause a certain flow or feel in your body, set of emotions and set of tension in your muscles.
So let’s change it.
Now, the question becomes,
“What is something that’s a lot more useful, that would make the process a little bit more fun and take out the achievement frame that it’s something I HAVE to get done?”
This is an odd concept. I don’t expect you to come up with an answer right away because it’s a really different way of thinking about the question. The common way to think about the question is, “What can I do differently?”
That’s useful, but a more useful thing is thinking, “Can I see how the meaning I’m giving to the label I’m using is causing me to go into it in a way that’s really making it much harder than it needs to be up until now?”
We spoke about something similar before. But for today:
Assume with me just for a minute, that the meaning we give things really can’t be a choice and you don’t have to just sit there and accept that the way you think about it is the way you always have to think about it.
You can think, “Wait a minute. I’m going to decide a better meaning that serves me better.” Consider that this is a possibility of the practice that you do.
“What would serve me better that’s still accurate?”
Peace,
RJ
P.S. Speed Seduction® is about disciplining yourself to look at your automatic ways of thinking very carefully and choose something that looks better. This is the key to it.
The actual stuff you say to get chicks is relatively easy. It’s the personal programming and noticing your patterns of communication that takes some work.
